Yes. The whole set can be performed in English, in French, or in both during the same evening. Close-up magic also relies a lot on what people see, so it travels well between languages.

How many guests can you reach during a cocktail?

Moving from group to group, I usually meet between eighty and a hundred and fifty guests in an hour and a half. Each group gets its own short show, so nobody watches from a distance.

Do you need a stage or a sound system?

Not for close-up magic, which is performed standing, a metre away from the guests. A parlour set only needs a clear space in front of the seated audience and, in a large room, a microphone.
