Learn magic with Wonder Edwrick: one-to-one or group magic lessons at home, in a leisure centre or at school, on the French Riviera, and become a budding magician.
Group magic lessons
During these magic lessons, children handle all kinds of props: ropes, cups, playing cards and everyday objects. While learning the tricks, they also learn presentation, communication and misdirection, which are essential to making a trick work.
They also learn how to build their own magic props.
Each session runs as follows:
– a demonstration part, in the form of a short show
– a learning part, where the tricks from the show are taught
All the equipment is provided during the workshop.
The workshop can end with a group show performed by the students for their families and friends.
One-to-one magic lessons

Private lessons are extremely useful and can save you hours, days, months and years of painstaking work spent trying to learn from books and badly made videos. Learning magic from a good book is fantastic, but the personal guidance of a working magician is priceless.
Wonder Edwrick offers private lessons using cards, coins and everyday objects. Each session lasts around 1 hour and will teach you the fundamentals of close-up magic, the sleights and the tricks you can then perform anywhere.
No experience is needed: complete beginners are welcome and we move forward at your own pace. If you have already tried to learn magic from a book and got stuck, this is exactly what you need.
These magic lessons can take place online or at the venue of your choice.
Two types of lessons
Close-up magic
(magic performed at arm’s length: budding magicians learn to perform tricks right under their audience’s nose)
This style of magic is the most sociable one, because there is far more contact between the young magician and the audience.
Parlour magic
(somewhere between stage magic and close-up)
Here you learn to present tricks designed for a larger audience. (in front of a class, the family, for an end-of-year show, and so on)

From what age can someone take magic lessons?
Lessons are open to children from primary school age as well as to complete adult beginners. Content and pace are adapted to the age and level of the group.
Are lessons individual or in groups?
Both formats exist: private lessons at home, or group workshops in holiday clubs, schools and care facilities.
What exactly is taught?
Tricks with ropes, cups, cards and everyday objects, but also presentation, communication and misdirection, without which no trick works. Students also build some of their own props.
